Tommy Gunn Nominated for FAME Award

LOS ANGELES — Tommy Gunn is a nominee for Favorite Male Performer in the 2008 FAME Awards.

Gunn is best known for his role as Captain Victor Stagnetti in the Digital Playground/Adam & Eve co-production of "Pirates," and will be featured in its sequel, "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge."

A former motorcycle mechanic, dancer, model and costumer, Gunn also was awarded with Best International Actor at the Venus Awards in Berlin as well as the XRCO's New Stud in 2004 and Male Performer of the Year awards in 2006.

"I'm very excited to be nominated for this award," Gunn said. "It's an award from the fans, so that always means something special. Of course, I also hope to win, but I'm very pleased to be a finalist for Favorite Male Performer."

The winners for the FAME Awards will be announced June 7 at the Los Angeles Convention Center during Erotica LA, an adult consumer-oriented event.
